Who we are

As a Clinical Psychologist, I felt lucky to have been shown some of the brilliant resources available to parents online. Beingafather.com.au aims to help all dads find them.

This is a place where you can prepare to become a dad by reviewing some resources designed to help you support your child’s wellbeing. We are also here for you to return to during the early years.

With each family being different, having different cultures, values and circumstances, we encourage you to decide what you find useful and supportive.

Sometimes we need more support or we will know someone who does. Our goal is for all dads to have the knowledge to be able to find support, or to help someone else find the support they need.

Finally, if there is a mum present, having both parents working on the same page can be incredibly valuable, so we created beingamum.com
